Rachael Sedgwick is from Nogales, AZ. She has an MSEd from UPENN and twelve years of teaching experience, in the U.S. and abroad. She has taught elementary,  middle, and high school English (and other subjects) in private, public, and charter schools. She has also been Principal, Curriculum Writer, and Education Consultant. Rachael graduated from law student in May 2017 from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law.  While in law school, she served as a 38(d) Certified Limited Practice Student in the Pima County Juvenile Courts so represented children involved in dependencies with the State.  She is currently in the process of getting her license to practice law in Arizona.  She is active in local politics, and she is determined to do her part to improve the level of K-12 educational achievement in Pima County.
